Some of Nancy's new work was in a group show, SANG-FROID, at the Schoolhouse Gallery in Provincetown, MA22 May through 22 June 2015.  The  Schoolhouse Gallery, which represents Nancy on Cape Cod, has an excellent selection of collages from her Book Cover series.  (To see Nancy's work at the Schoolhouse Gallery, click HERE. After this show, the work will remain available to view at the gallery throughout the summer.)

There are some new collages by NANCY RUBENS that are on display at SCHOOLHOUSE GALLERY in Provincetown, MA, including two examples of her very newest workbladed collages done on book covers.  These new works are extremely subtle, and need to be seen to appreciated.  If you happen to be on the Lower Cape, you definitely should drop by to see this work.

The SCHOOLHOUSE GALLERY represents Nancy on Cape Cod, and always has some of her work, although not always on view.  At the moment, these new works are on display, but you can always ask at the gallery to be shown what they have even when they are not.  (During the busy summer months, it is probably a good idea to call ahead to the gallery [508.487.4800] to arrange to be able to see the work.)

Nancy Rubens’ work is going to be shown in a group show in Provincetown that opens this coming Friday, the 8th, and which runs through 27 June Wednesday.  It will include two collages from Nancy's new book cover series. This series has never been shown before. Those who are familiar with her work will recognize the subtlety of the palette and the curving strands of glued papers; but the use of the book covers takes this new work into a new dimension.
